The KVC, an NCOWS posse will have their annual 2 Gun Shoot this weekend at Garnett, KS.  Motel a mile from the range & plenty of primitive camping.  RVs & trailers welcome in the parking area.  $50 with meals included.  You need one revolver & one rifle [pistol caliber - Spencer 56-50 OK].  Some unique firearms may be staged and ammo furnished.  Written test.  Unique stages!  Y'all come on down and have a bunch of fun!  Grin

Must report it was a fun and challenging match. Good people, good food, good times.
The most challenging stage was the one where you had to hang by your knees upside down shooting your revolver with your weak hand while blindfolded. That took a little getting used to.

And thanks to Books O'Toole for loaning me some .38 S&W short so I could compete in the Double Action side match, though I wasn't much competition.

Yeah, that one was tough, but having that hungry pit bull on the chain right underneath was quite a distraction (and that reload was a b****h) - but I managed to shoot it clean anyway!!!

Books

I guess I should put this into proper perspective.

The complaint was from "Longrange Larry Little," who is famous for his 211 yard pistol shot at the GAF muster.
