amin

The bowie I wear is the big one in the group picture.
Ask and you shall receive. Rick already told you that it is probably a molar. but yes it is one tooth. I have always been one to prowel around lookin for cool stuff. But I also make some of my stuff too. My hands don't work so good any more so I am makin less and less. I have made the hair pipe choker I wear. I make them with real bone, and real glass beads. Only use the best stuff so I couldn't sell them and make a profit because the parts are so expensive. Here are some pix of other parts of my outfit. I have a large bowie knife made by J Jacobs in washington. My leather is of course by RedDog Leather.
Any other questions just holler.

Howdy Curley, Smiley
Mighty fine looking leather gear, and some awesome knifes!!! Just wondering what was the brand of that rig?? The reason I ask is that there is a holster like that pattern in the Packing Iron Book, and I would like to have a copy of that pattern so i can try and carve it!! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Ace

You have a good eye! Almost all my leather is done for me by my pard Paul Combest of RedDog Leather out of Kentucky. When I have him do a piece for me, I tell him what I want, and the details (like how I like my holster to ride) and I leave the tooling and art work fully up to him. I believe that a leather worker is an artist, and like to give them an opportunity to be creatitive.

As for the holster, we decided on a slim jim, and he chose to use the holster on the inside cover of Packin Iron as his inspiration. I think he did a really good job. I get lots of comments on the rigs.
thanks for noticing.

here, I will add a 4 strand hairpipe choker, and an old watch fob.

Here is a tighter shot, to better show the blue chevrons on the 2  strand.  I actually made both chokers. The turq. I got off the reservation many moons ago.

Hope bout them?
