Do they hold up well where heavy recoil is concerned?

Howdy Ranger

    Brass just isn't very strong, and wouldn't hold up well  in a 44 mag, but should do fine in a 357 mag. personally I prefer steel grip frames on all my guns, even the old BP guns, you just don't have the problems with steel that you can have with brass, IMHO
