Hey yall , Im lookin' for a little help. Our CAS club wants to set up to shoot Buckaroo class with .22's over the winter months. And when we get it set up hopefully bring in some new shooters. But what are the targets supposed to be? I can't find any details, and worry about ricochets on our regular steel targets. How about wood? Should they be hanging or fixed? Any help is appreciated

All of the clubs I've shot use their standard targets. Knockdown targets are not required to fall for the Buckaroo Category.  Ricochets or splatter have never been a problem, hanging or fixed. Good Luck.

Shooters Handbook page 13
• “Buckaroos” must use revolvers, rifles, and shotguns meeting the external standards but
may be chambered in .22 LR for revolvers and rifles and .410 caliber for shotguns.
Standard velocity ammunition for these firearms must be used. Knockdown targets are not
required to fall for Buckaroo Category shooters. A hit will be scored as long as the target is
clearly hit. An alternate target MUST be provided for all aerial shotgun targets for
Buckaroo category shooters.
• Buckaroo Category shooters choosing to use center-fire ammunition in handguns and/or
rifles must meet all center-fire power factor and velocity requirements

+1.  My experience with buckaroo shooters parallels Jefro's
