Finally decided it was time to join ya'll on this forum !  Been lurkin on here and the other forum for sometime now ! A fine lady on the other forum called us lurkers out and I joined in and from time to time I respond to posts !  Lost my job a short time back & for now find that besides looking for a new job; that I have lots of time to spend on this here puter contraption !

I know what you mean by looking for a job. It just so happens that several relatives had been asking me why I had not quit working and filed for disability. Well when I lost my job I looked for about 5 months before I got another job. Then it was a job that I could not handle. So I had to quit after 1, 14 hour day.  I filed for SS disability, was turned down so I got a lawyer and got my disability without having to go before the judge and not ever having all the things wrong with me listed in the letter to the judge. I was sure glad I got the  disability but, it sure was hard to admit that there was that much stuff wrong with me. As of now I am set up to have back surgery the 30th of this month if my other doctors think I can stand the surgery. So, if you are able to work, I sincerely pray that you get a job. But if you are disabled, please don't wait until you get in  as bad of shape as I am to admit it and file for disability. Texas Toby
