Pitspitr, You can keep your snow up there, I hope you don't get any more for awhile.

RCJ, I was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle where the winter weather is similar to Nebraska. It can snow up there anytime after Labor Dayand sometimes as late as April. I've worked cattle and horses in the snow and bad weather, when I was young. I'm too old for that now. As much as I hated to miss the Muster, I'm glad I missed the snow. I can't take the cold weather much anymore, with my Diabetes.

You and me both, my friend. Wink

I have to admit that I was probably the biggest whiner at the last Muster because I just couldn't get my feet warm. Diabetes too.
The snow was actually fairly light and semi melted as the morning went by Saturday, but it meant that it was sloppy wet and water seeped in between the seams of my soles and uppers and me feet stayed damp until I got back to the barracks that afternoon to change into dry socks. Sunday was more a case of us being exposed up on the top of a plateau and the wind chill.

If you whined, you sure were polite about it, 'cause I didn't hear you.

I heard him, wanted to put his feet in the coffee pot.

Worst whine was when Windy City Joe was ready to was his plate at breakfast Friday and the water wasn't ready and the water from the night before was froze. Grin
