 I got an reply from Dave.

 Ne said the Remington and Pedersoli Receivers are completly different.

Unless you buy a 'take off" stock set on gunbroker or someplace like that, expect quite a little bit of fitting.  I;m doing a #5 roller just now, using treebone carving wood.  Nice quality, but yes, needs fitting and mucho sanding.
