How come us RATS don't get a gold medallion?

Almost everybody in the forum gets a gold medallion on the first page of this forum, but the RATS and DARKSIDERS get silver.

Or else maybe it symbolizes stainless steel color.

Howdy, Pete!
The gold medallion means there are topics in that folder which you have not read or are new since your last visit. Silver means you've read everything in there or there is nothing new since your last visit. It's just a visual clue to tell you about what's new on CAS City.
Besides, it's not silver, it's titanium, tough like a RUGER!
