Except, if I read the ad correctly, the gun is/will only be available in .357.
Make it in .44 Special or, better, .44-40! I'd even take it in .45 LC.

I only shoot in .45 and I like the barrel length at 5.5 inches. Besides, I pretty much have a matched set of RNVs as it is in that finish anyway.
Yet, I do really like these anyhow, no matter
what
caliber they come in!

I just wish they had set it up so you could get your SASS number as the serial number like the Cowboy Fastdraw Association did with Life Members. Anyone know when the 45 will come out?

Interesting, Rugers are excellent revolvers though so I can understand their decision. I'm curious though, who made the old SASS revolvers?

Another thing is that the guns will only be sold in sets of two. I guess I will have to wait awhile until they show up on CDNN like the 50th Anniversay Blackhawks did. Maybe then I will be able to buy just one. Which reminds me. Anyone know why a Montado should cost so much more than a standard Vaquero?

I deal with CDNN a lot. They're a good outfit, soure sure & for certain!
They really ain't a regular Ruger distibutor, they tell me.
