I too would like to see the return of the OMV. but given the current political climate I doubt if Ruger will consider bringing it back.
 I suppose most of you know this already, Ruger does make a .45/70 single shot rifle but they ain't cheap starting at $1,147.00 msrp! It's listed under their "Ruger NO. 1 Rifles on pgs. 26-27 of their 2009 catalog

I agree with Ned Pepper, and I'd even go so far as a .36 version, providing they got the chamber and barrel sizes in the correct configuration, unlike the Italian repro's.

Or like an earlier post, Ruger clones of all the popular open top pistols, think of the rugged reliability.
(Does anyone make an 1860 in stainless???)

NM 38-40
I'd like to see the cowboy fast draw model (with a colt type hammer) made a standard item and chambered in 38-40. It would be good looking and fit right into the scheme of Classic Cowboy.
