Hmmm....could it maybe be the 15 rifle on one stage.  Start with only 10 in the gun and load the other 5 at your discretion.  The rifle string was a bank of 5 targets with a table there, some movement and a bank of 3 targets, some more movement and then the final 7 targets.  Since I timed a goodly number on our posse, I can tell you that it was shot MANY different ways.  Some chose to shoot the first 5 and then utilize the table to load 5 more and continue on.  Some chose to shoot the first 5, load a few, shoot the three, load some more, and then shoot the final 7.  At least one shooter chose to (or forgot to load and had to) load the final five after expending all rounds in the gun.  I loaded two as soon as I picked up the rifle, shot 5, loaded two more on the move, shot 3, loaded the final round on the move and shot the last 7.  I don't recommend this approach for everyone because it requires the shooter to remember how many he's loaded.  It just worked out best for me this way this time around.
