Count me in.
It took awhile but I finally got my Uberti 76 to shoot well, even if it's only with smokeless.
Black powder loads are next.

Got ya on the list, Cat.  Smiley

Have you tried the BP loads, but just have not found the right combination?  What smokeless powder at you using?

Grizz...
I had a lot of trouble at first with accuracy of the .45-60 in the 76.  Turned out the crown was bad & sent it back to Taylor's.  They didn't fix it properly so I had to send it to John King in Kila MT.  He pulled the barrel & crowned it properly.  This is what Taylor's should have done.  I could see that the crown hadn't been corrected when they returned it.
Now, at 75 yds., I can get 1 inch groups using 24 grain of Accurate 5744 & the RCBS 45-300GC bullet sized .001 over groove dia.

Now that I know the rifle will shoot I'll start trying blackpowder as soon as I get a chance.

Cheers,

Cat

Yep.  Count me in too.   Here is my baby in 45-60 Uberti made from Taylors.  I have lots of factory ammo from TenX.

It loads and shoots like a dream.   Regards.  Deadeye.
