I was in the Army (Ft. Knox) with a young man who's last name was "Spotted Tail" - I wonder ...

Most likely! a few years ago I met a descendant of American Horse (as in Slim Buttes) at a wresteling meet.

I just corresponded with Sgt. John and he said he wouldn't likely be able to attend - he would need to bring his daughter

I doubt there'd be many babysitter shortages Roll Eyes

My thoughts exactly!

He'd probably have us olde phartz lining up for a chance to watch out for her!  Her Daddy is probably still young enough that he doesn't realize what a little Granddaughter-type/size person can do to/for a bunch of Old So-jers, Jy-rines, Swabbies Air-heads and other assorted riff-raff, including silly-vilians!  It's pure pleasure!  Heck, he might even have fellers trying to pay HIM for the privilege of watchin' her!  Wink

I am really looking foward this muster. I don't have any period military uniforms to wear so I guess I will dress as a civilian. I'm just an Ol' fat cop, I don't imagine anyone stocks any 5 or 6x military uniforms.  I do have a replica 36 cal revolver and a replica Saber.
I'll be dressed as a civilian scout. I doubt I'll have the money fer a uniform by that time.

Actually I was thinking with as liberal as the press seems to be they'd probably have a bigger fit about the dog being locked up with the guns and explosives Roll Eyes

 Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Why ... the mere presence of all those explosives and weapons will rot the poor dog's brain, turn him into a criminal, and he'll probably begin terrorist activities to help overthrow the Government.  Or at least the Liberal movement.  Next thing ya know, he'll morph into a meld of Sarah Brady, Ted Kennedy and Billary Clinton! (AFTER his mind has been scrubbed, of course!)

Bvt. Lt. Col. Pitsptr,
I am going to assume we should plan on bringing our own bedding/blankets?
