Though some of us may have differing opinions on Johnny Cash, I thought this would be fitting for tonight.

Did ya'll watch the CMA awards? I couldn't handle a full hour, had to switch channels. A week ago, George said this:
----------------------------------------------
Is "New Country" Real Country?
Posted Sat Nov 7, 2009 12:40pm PST by Wendy Geller in Viva NashVegas
This week, George Jones told the media that he thinks new country stars such as Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift have "stolen the identity" of country music in general, and that they should "find their own title" for the music they are making, resulting in a flurry of "George Jones Says: Don't Call It Country!"-type headlines across the news.
----------------------------------------------
(George was being asked specifically about the girls, but you can add Chesney and Rascal Flatts and the rest of that gang.) I caught one good act, Jamey Johnson (with Kid Rock, of all people) doing Between Jennings and Jones. Cool song.

Ok now I need help after reading that. There was a band that came out in the early to mid nineties. They were very scruffy lookin and had hair down to thier butts but they played some damn good country and brought it to people that normaly wouldn't listen to it. The name is on the tip of my tongue but it won't come out. I can picture the album cover and I recall the name being two words. And no, I can't remember the name of any of thier songs, they just kind of disappeared.
