What's open class anyhow?

There is classes by age and gender, blackpowder, gunfighter, duelist and classes for juniors, but open class means what? Thanks.

Howdy, Open is the pro class. Only Open Class competitors shoot for money and prizes at World Cup. Also there are no shooting style or age restrictions as in some of the amateur classes.  Cold Iron

It also means that the shooter can shooter any style they choose.  For example, I can shoot Gunfighter on a stage I think a Gunfighter has an advantage and then go back to two-handed shooting on the next stage.  Make sense?
