.22lr/mag Super Single Six converted to a Biley

.44 Super Blackhawk with my .44 Cowboy

.44 Bisley Vaqueros in my CAS rig

Same .45 acp/lc but with my .22lr/mag conversion

Howdy Pard  Cheesy

Hey Pard you have a really nice brace of Bisleys, and I like your lever guns too. I don't think you can beat these Ruger Single Sixes in Standard or Bisley, there tough accurate, good looking and most of all reliable. I like your holsters , did you make them yourself, nice looking.. Smiley Wink

I purchased the holsters and the rest from Rudy at Blackhills Leather. They are well made to say the least.

Washday Daniel Nighteyes

And Halito back to ya!

Yup, for use in CAS. Fake eagle feathers and scalp locks, of course.

I actually made this for use as a standing rifle rest in long-distance shooting.  The crosspiece is for the rifle.  One little problem, though.  I forgot to consider how hard the ground is in SoCal.  Huh Huh Huh The lance-head will only penetrate about an inch into the ground, which isn't enough to provide stability.

Still, though, it looks good on the side of my gun cart.

Howdy  Daniel Nigtheyes

You did a real nice job on this lance, It's to bad the ground is so hard, I live in So. Calif. too, so I know where your coming from , Daniel you might want to carry a pick axe on your cart,it would help you break up that hard California ground. Just kidding, Cheesy but anyway it's a good idea. I saw you on another post, you were shooting a brace of cap & ball six guns, looks like fun,one of these days Im going to give bp a try, I built a 54 cal Santa Fe Hawken several years ago, and haven't gone back to it in some time. Daniel are your ancestor's of the Nez Perce, I noticed your trade mark at the bottom of your post .

You have a great day Daniel Nirgteyes Smiley

Howdy Rats around the fire!  Got a couple of pair of my own to show ya . . . .

First pair is a set of OMV's bought just about when Ruger came out with the idea of the Vaquero - a set of short SS .45's, both tuned by Oglesby &  Oglesby - and they'll hold 1" at 20.  A sweet pair of shooters.

The second set is my brand spanking new Munden tuned NMV's, and they'll shoot all the rounds through the same hole - hot doggies but these guns are sweet!

I'll hav eto get more Ruger Vaqueros now that they've come out with the NMV - that is the nicest Single action I've ever shot - better any Colt out there - period!

Ride safe folks -

This is my latest Ruger project.  This is an Acusport Bisley 45LC/45ACP.  I installed a Bowen Rough Country rear sight, then added a Power Custom Hammer/Trigger kit.  This gives me a half cock with indexing for loading.  I use blue for the hammer and trigger because I liked the contrast.  Had Cary Chapman make me grips out of Amboyna Burl.   I also want to add a Belt Mountain #5 Base pin, and may have the gun bead blasted to a matte finish.
